June 9, 2015: A public meeting will be held on Saturday June 13, 2015 starting at 1:00pm at the Pender Harbour Community Hall. The public meeting will include a presentation from the provincial government and the shishalh Nation, to be followed by a one hour question and answer period.
May 26, 2015: The Ministry of Forests, Lands, and Natural Resource Operations (FLNR) and sh?sh?lh Nation will be available at a public meeting in Pender Harbour on Saturday June 13, 2015 regarding the Pender Harbour draft Dock Management Plan. Please check this website for updated information on the meeting closer to the date. In order to accommodate comments subsequent to this public meeting, a further extension to the public comment period has been implemented. Comments will now be accepted until June 24, 2015.
May 13, 2015: The Ministry of Forests, Lands, and Natural Resource Operations (FLNR) has received various comments and questions from the community. In order to provide clarity to interested parties, FLNR has posted a Frequently Asked Questions and Answers document. This document will be regularly updated as new comments are received and reviewed.
April 22, 2015: The opportunity to comment on the draft Pender Harbour Dock Management Plan has been extended to June 10, 2015.
Comments on the Plan may be submitted in two ways:
1) Online via the Applications and Reasons for Decision Database website at: http://www.arfd.gov.bc.ca/ApplicationPosting/index.jsp search for file # 2410736,
2) By mail to the Section Head Crown Land Authorizations at:
200 - 10428 153rd Street, Surrey BC V3R 1E1.
Comments will be received by the Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations until June 10, 2015. Comments received after this date may not be considered.
